Established in 1944, Schofields Bush Fire Brigade, a member of the NSW Rural Fire Service, serves the community of Schofields and it's adjoining suburbs.

Schofields Bush Fire Brigade is located within the Cumberland Zone fire district, incorporating the Fairfield, Blacktown and Penrith Council areas, respectively.

Schofields Bush Fire Brigade consists of volunteers who respond 24/7 365 days to Incidents such as:

* Motor Vehicle Accidents
* Bush and Grass Fires
* Structure Fires
* Motor Vehicle Fires
* Flood and Storm Damage
* Gas Leaks

And various other equally important incidents such as:

* Animal Rescues
* Out of Area Assistance for Bush Fires
* Search and Rescues
